Sure you have.
I’ve done it with learning Malay (and Arabic now…).
We all do it.
Why?
Sometimes we put it off because it’s monotonous or boring. We just don’t want to do it.
Like folding the laundry or washing the dishes.
But then there are other things.
The things we put off because we don’t know how to do them.
Like repairing the ceiling. Or fixing the car.
So what is the most powerful step you can take in the battle against delaying?
It’s research.
We tend to put off doing the things we don’t know how to do simply because we don’t know how to do it the right way. Who wants to spend time and money repairing the ceiling if it will just need to be done again straight after?
Now another question along the same lines for you.
Have you ever found that, when it comes time to study English, you just put it off and off and off?
If you don’t know what to do to see the improvement, you don’t want to do it.
It’s not until you know how to learn English that you will want to do it.
Obvious, right?
So try this and see if it works for you.
See you there!
